Looking at a prop bet here in the offseason, and thinking of playing a couple teams in the same and trying to make a profit off it.The bet is Russell Westbrook's 2019-2020 team at beginning of season. I'm thinking of playing both of the following
$3000 on Miami Heat at -150
$1000 on Detroit Pistons at +500
Best case scenario is I get 2-grand if he lands in Detroit. Seems like they are the only ones really in the conversation aside from Heat. From what Ive gathered it seems like it's between these two teams. It seems inevitable he's leaving OKC after the Paul Geore trade. Orlando is reportedly not interested. The Knicks after their bad free agency misses seem possible, but ive heard they'd only make the move after the season. To me it only looks like Miami and Detroit unless a team like Minnesota comes in and tries to get rid of Wiggins. Should I just bet one and take the risk? I feel like its close between these twos. Obviously Miami has a price where there is enough smoke to be a fire, but their cap situation is kinda fucked and theyd need a third team to provide relief. Detroit seems like a logical destination for a team that may try to vault into contention in a wide open east. Seems like they wanna compete sooner than later after getting Blake. Thoughts?
